Event Details

Date: Thursday, May 7, 2026
Time: 6:30 PM

Location:

  • St. John’s (In-person): Tombolo Office, 25 Kenmount Road
  • Outside St. John’s: Virtual participation available

What to Expect

This session will be an open and engaging discussion where participants can explore important topics related to anti-racism, inclusion, and community building. The goal is to create a safe and respectful space where individuals can share experiences, learn from one another, and better understand the impact of racism in our communities.

The discussion will be facilitated by Laurabel Mba, an experienced EDI-AR (Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Anti-Racism) consultant. With her guidance, participants will gain insights into real-life challenges and practical ways to promote inclusion in everyday life.

Why This Matters

Creating inclusive communities requires awareness, education, and honest dialogue. This event is part of a broader effort to support newcomers and residents across Newfoundland and Labrador by encouraging understanding and collaboration among diverse groups.

Whether you are new to these conversations or already engaged in this work, your voice matters. By coming together, we can build stronger connections and take meaningful steps toward equity and respect for all.
