(TMFNL) is a non-profit organization committed to promoting cultural diversity,
intercultural understanding, anti-racism, inclusion, music, arts and culture,
immigrants integration,business development and tourism in Newfoundland and Labrador.

EVENT

Labrador City Tombolo Multicultural Event

Tombolo Multicultural Show to Support Workers in Live Arts and Music Sectors in Newfoundland and Labrador. Airing on Rogers TV and Rogers TV website on March 25, 27 and 28, 2022. Featuring local and immigrant artists and heritage performers from St. John’s, Gander, Grand Falls-Windsor, Corner Brook, Stephenville and Labrador City.
2022 PROJECTS AND PROGRAMS

1). CANADIAN MULTICULTURALISM DAY 2022

  • PROJECT TITLE: “Celebrating Canada’s Cultural Diversity in Newfoundland and Labrador.”
  • DATE & TIME: Monday, June 27, 2022. TIME: 1:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
  • LOCATION: St. John’s Farmers’ Market (245 Freshwater Road, St. John’s).
  • PROJECT FUNDED BY: Government of Canada, through the Department of Canadian Heritage.

 

2). LABOUR MARKET INTEGRATION FOR NEWCOMERS (LMIN) PROJECT

  • PROJECT TITLE: “Providing Culturally Suitable and Effective Multicultural Programs and Activities that will Support and Enhance the Economic, Social and Cultural Integration and Advancement of Newcomers in Newfoundland and Labrador.”
  • DATE: June 2021 – March 2023. PROJECT FUNDED BY: Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, through the Department of Immigration, Population Growth, and Skills.

 

3). BUILDING COMMUNITIES THROUGH ARTS AND HERITAGE PROGRAM (BCAH)

  • PROJECT TITLE: “St. John’s Tombolo Multicultural Festival 2022.”
  • DATE: Friday, August 5 to Sunday, August 7, 2022.
  • LOCATIONS: St. John’s Arts and Culture Centre and St. John’s Farmers’ Market location.
  • PROJECT FUNDED BY: Government of Canada, through the Department of Canadian Heritage.

 

4). BUILDING COMMUNITIES THROUGH ARTS AND HERITAGE PROGRAM (BCAH)

  • PROJECT TITLE: “Conception Bay Multicultural Event 2022.”
  • DATE: Friday, September 9 to Sunday, September 11, 2022.
  • LOCATION: Conception Bay (Brigus, Cupids, Bay Roberts, Harbour Grace and Carbonear).
  • PROJECT FUNDED BY: Government of Canada, through the Department of Canadian Heritage.
